Funny that argument doesn't show up in European sales threads when it turns out they buy PS5 to play EA Sports FC and CoD. When Nintendo benefits from people buying their console to play the same games its boring, but when PS dominates Europe on the backs of the same games every year its not boring? |
In Europe you just mentioned Sony, Microsoft and EA. And guess what, Nintendo benefits too because the market has diverse tastes. Its only Japan where everyone else besides Nintendo is shut out. Thats why Japan is boring. No competition. And thats bad for consumers. Even if it was just Sony in the charts in Japan that would be boring too. We want competition.

You can use Niche Barrier to look that up:

Whose fault for Nintendo dominating Japan ? Sony’s fault lmao

Nintendo was even then dominant.
However, there was remarkable Playstation presence and something more than that, since you set a timeline where a wild PSP appeared.
Maybe Japanese Playstationers have gone digital.

160 million easy |
It won't be easy, but not out of reach as a lot people think.
Time will tell.
If switch keeps that weekly baseline, then we can hope.
5m left to go.
Selling 1m in Japan this year
, facilitates that aim.
Does anyone know if Tomodachi life living the dream Q2 release time frame is calendar or financial?

One of the greatest perks of being a VGChartz Bronze Supporter is the ability to ignore certain users— it's working wonders in this thread. Lol! Too many console warriors on these sales threads. Yes, Nintendo dominates Japan... but we've known this since the dawn of time. I suggest you can it if you've got nothing new to add.

No one is taking about Sony. We are talking about anyone. Like where is anybody? Like I said, if it was all dominated by Sony and Sony games, that would be just as bad. Get past the console wars and try to understand what I am saying.
