Forums - Nintendo - Bloober team to "very soon" share details on game that "could only exist on Nintendo hardware"

Tagged games:

Maybe some assymetrical multiplayer game, that you can play as villain controlling monsters and activing hazzards with mouse controls trying to kill the opposing players, who have standard fps controls (hopefully some dual screen functionality with game share so the villain can access their functions secretally)

True dat lol but its fun to imagine the possibilities

Yeah my guess would be either a Nintendo owned IP, or something that uses the camera/mouse in a creative way.

Maybe it'll show up in the usual February Direct.

Eternal Darkness 2, I’m so happy 😭

If it was for Wii U, that would be a Zombie U like

Perhaps Nintendo is going for a second screen add on? Or you can use a second Switch (1 or2) as a controller?

Well Eternal Darkness is a Nintendo owned IP.  They renew the trademark every few years.  May just not have ported it due to not wanting to credit Silicon Knights and the horrible person that is Dennis Dyack. A remake could bring the game back and erase Dennis.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

I kinda feel like if it was Eternal Darkness then they wouldn't have name-dropped it as an example alongside Resident Evil/Limbo.

Still, it would be cool if it was, that was quite an original and unique game for Nintendo.

Given what Bloober were able to pull off with Layers of Fear where they got Lumen up and running on Switch 2 at 60fps, it'll be cool to see what they can achieve when building a game from the ground up for it.

Nintendo owned ip already makes the claim true. Lol

But I hope it's something fun and unique feature wise
