Forums - Sales - High Voltage

Another thing I want to go on record as saying:

 High Voltage is going to make a redonk amount of money for 5 reasons:

A.  They are taking the wii seriously;

2.  They are taking it seriously before anyone else besides the big N (and MAYBE THQ [&/or Capcom]);

C.  Zombie Animals (or Animales de la muerte, if you prefer);

4.  Wiiware will be bigger than people think.

and E.  The conduit has apparently has alot of suiters now (Check Matt "Assamasina's" blog).

6. Because you personally suck.

I remembered I made this drunken statement late last night, and looking at it again, I actually stand by my drunk logic for once. That's a first.

It's true! I do personally suck! High Voltage FTW!

(am I the only one who still uses "FTW"?)

 You and bleu-ocelot XD

On topic, the OP was drunk, still most of his points make some sense... strange isn´t it??

By me:

Made with Blender + LuxRender
"Since you can´t understand ... there is no point to taking you seriously."

I SuckHow could you!!!...jk

High Voltage has become one of my favorite developers, Animales de la muerte looks like a great game too

They're doing a great job at marketing themselves. First they go public with their game/engine before securing a publisher. It creates a big stir in the community that causes many publishers to rush in, putting them in a nice position to get a good offer. Then they use the created buzz to announce their smaller WiiWare games. Now fans are going nuts over a company that was unheard of a few weeks ago.

High Voltage is like Nibris, with the exception being that High Voltage is actually developing games.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

I still think it's all a big crazy evil plan, but so far I'm all for it. I don't even care if the games suck. I just hope they get rich, and teach other 3rd parties and even no-name indie devs to grow some fucking balls and pull PR stunts like this. I will even buy both their WiiWare games in support.

I disagree with all of your points except #6, whose veracity I can personally vouch for.
I'm glad to see that High Voltage is breaking free and trying new things. Here's hoping they deliver!

I wished my drunken statement made that much sense.
