PS5's sales seem good, but a notable drop from last November (first 3 weeks) which saw the launch of the PS5 Pro.
Weak Switch 2 sales. Stock issues?

No stock issues, none of the Switch 2 games Nintendo have released recent months in Spain has been appealing to that market. Kirby Air Riders sold 2k there recently. If you don't have appealing software, that means the console sales will be bad as well. A lot of the third party games releasing on PS5 has much wider appeal in those markets than any of the Nintendo games. Metroid Prime 4 is the last game left and that game is also slated to do terrible in Spain.

Thanks. This is a really great week for it in Spain for sure then. In Japan and the US it'll probably do decent to good but it looks like its holiday season in Europe is gonna be outright incredible this year. |
There’s a high chance that I’ll surpass last year sales, at least in Europe.
The sale will finish on December 19th everywhere, I can see Sony selling at least 8m. for Q3 this year.
Every gen people seem surprised about the powah of the Playstation. The only thing holding it back is the price of the hardware, I'm telling ya.

No one understimates PS in Europe:
Total PS4 sales: 117M.
Total Switch sales: 152M.
Even though the global numbers looked like that, PS4 sold like 6M more in Europe than Switch 1.
Europe is often the biggest PS market, while for Nintendo consoles Europe is often the third biggest market after the US and Japan.
People are worried about the switch 2. It’s the best selling console at launch.
A record-breaking launch doesn't mean everything. Many people base their assessments on the Switch 2 launch. If the Switch 1 or the PS5 had had the same stock as the Switch 2, they would have had the same sales at launch. I work at Micromania in France. In my store, Switch 2 sales aren't that strong; we sell far more PS5s than Switch 2s. The problem is the price. Customers find it too expensive and don't see any difference compared to the Switch 1. As a result, they prefer to go for the PS5 or keep their Switch 1. This is also why stores in France have further reduced their profit margins on the Switch 2, because from what I've heard from colleagues at Fnac and Auchan, it's the same situation there. I'm not saying it doesn't sell, sales are good, but not that strong, and there isn't that much enthusiasm for the Switch 2 compared to the Switch 1. The lack of games doesn't help either.
I am French too and I can tell you the Switch 2 is selling really well I’ve met many people and many of them have the switch 2.
Now it means a lot, the switch is the best selling console at launch and Nintendo have their forecast set at 19M that’s huge ? Why do you think they’re doing bad ? There is literally nothing that shows a decline of the switch 2. People were saying the same thing when the switch 1 came out. Why are are some people acting like that, that’s just weird ?
And let’s not forget that the switch 1 sold less than the PS4 worldwide from 2017 to 2018 and now the switch 1 is sitting at 155 million units while the PS4 is at 117 million
Enthousiasm ? The console is new, lets wait for new games lmao. You don’t think millions will buy the console when a new AC or brand new Mario will come out. But right now, the switch 2 is is doing very very well.
