Remakes don’t replace OG. (Also, the aesthetic of older games has its own charm that modern games don’t quite capture. I’ve already done my full playthrough of TTYD remake.)

No need to buy the remake if the original is on NSO.

As for other titles, still waiting for SSB Melee and MK: Double Dash from Nintendo, and Gladius, Resident Evil 4, Odama, Beyond Good and Evil and Need for Speed Underground 1 and 2

Of games I played on Gamecube that weren't first party Eternal Darkness and Viewtiful Joe. Tales of Symphonia would be nice since the hd version on the console runs at 30fps unlike the gamecube version that ran at 60fps. Baten Kaitos would be nice since the gamecube version had English voices, and the hd remakes do not. For a game I never played but would like to see Skies of Arcadia.

Ikaruga, SSX 3, Crazy Taxi, Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2, Killer 7

I played neither (will play the remake whenever I'm done with Paper Mario 64), but I thought the remake was almost a 1 to 1 recreation of the original with QoL additions and better graphics, that's why I asked.
