My apologies Cerebral. I didn't see Perfect Dark peaking up back there lol. So I take it you must have the expansion pack installed? If so, do you play Perfect Dark in high-res mode, or regular mode?

I need to try out both. Let's see if I get framerate dips.

In love with the labels at the bottom of each stack.

Damn, that picture just hit me with a wave of nostalgia! N64 was my high school days and man those were good gaming times. I had half (21 or 22) of the games in the picture back in the day, along with others. That's a great collection. Wish I still had all my old systems and games.

I'd add Smash to the collection. I know you pointed out Smash really got great starting with Melee so you feel the original isn't needed, but the original I feel like is a little unique since it was the first testing out of the idea, and from Melee onward the Smash games were all very similar (and looked very similar) as the later games basically just followed the Melee formula. I dunno, I haven't played the original in ages but at the very least the classic N64 graphics make it seem different than all the later ones. It'd be like not getting Star Fox in a SNES collection just because SF64 greatly improved upon the original and became the standard bearer for the series. Just my own opinion.

I always smile seeing Conkers Bad Fur Day for the N64. Such a unique experience.
Forgot about Snowboard Kids, that was a fun little game. The N64 had some really fun multiplayer games.

I'd add Super Smash Bros. The hit-stun is a bitch but the chaos of the first game in the series is still fun.

Yeah 4-player multiplayer out of the box at a time when other consoles were mostly limited to 2 was a killer feature; many long hours spent in the multiplayer of games like Banjo Tooie, Starfox 64, and DK64 back in the day. (My parents wouldn't let us have Goldeneye or Perfect Dark cos nothing with guns or "realistic" violence was allowed)

N64 probably has the biggest density of all-time classics. And, as probably known by now, a handful of my all-time favorites. So I’d say, good choice!

My parents did let me play GoldenEye.. but only with the DK and the paintball cheats

Nice work! I finished the PAL set this year. N64 is one of my favourite consoles - so many great memories playing as a kid.
