I'm not sure if I'll commit to a list yet as I wanted to play through Clair Obscur and Hades II before then (and maybe Digimon Time Stranger too), but with how frequently I've not spent time playing those games, I'm not sure I can get them in in a timely manner. Without them, the list's gonna be nearly unchanged from last year, so I'll have a think about it.

Well, well, day 50 is upon us and I'm throwing down our very first hint of the event.

I spent yesterday morning at a Starbucks finalizing my list

I have two new entries — one from 2024 and one from 2025. And a few games dropped or rose a couple of spaces. Other than that, it’s pretty similar to the list from last year.

I'll be taking couple more days to finalize my list. And I'll probably be just posting in bunches of 5 or 10.

My first list was simply best games.
Second (last year) I did games that I've played multiple times.
This time I'm doing a subjective list, by personal nostalgia,the games I remember most fondly. That'll be even more retro than previous ones (and with more SMS), but still not that different (aside notable absence of Nintendo).

Ok, might as well get started with the clues. Not entirely happy with the order of some of the games later on, but I guess it'll have to do.
