I’d be up for helping tabulate votes if someone else wanted to do graphics and make the actual thread.

Actually, this wouldn't take much less effort. In order to know the overall top 100, you need to compile the full ranking from everyone, and that's what takes the most time. And the second thing that takes most time, honestly, was the top 100 post with all the fancy banners.

I've been considering the idea of just hosting the event again, only without the results. So it'd just be the Discussion and Official threads, people make their lists and talk about them, and that's it. But even then, making the threads with their fancy banners and making my own fancy images for my list was the next thing that took the most time

This thread stagnated a bit and the 12th is fast approaching so if I don't hear otherwise I think I'm gonna go ahead and throw together a Sign-Up thread later today and we'll figure out the results part when we get there.

This sounds like a potential plan. Like I said it would be no skin off my back making the threads and we could probably reuse most of the top 100 banners from previous years (as long as @mZuzek is down with that).

Looking back I'm appreciating that you actually changed little stuff like the background of the index banners every year, that's pretty awesome, though I can't promise quite the same attention to detail :P
