Strategyking: Yeah, but it was AWFUL! Let me see, it was called "The Ever Increasing and Ever More Unlikely Adventures of Mooser Bamboo" and it was basically a parody of Indiana Jones, well before this flood of parody and spoof movies we are tortured with today. Let me reiterate, AWFUL! lol

OT: Sometimes just writing in a journal can help. Just start writing and don't stop til you feel completely drained emotionally. You don't even have to read what you wrote, just venting can be a help. Just make sure you don't leave it where people can read it on a whim, I had a friend learn that one the hard way...

The whole Journal idea mrjuju mentioned is a really good way of taking things out of your chest and to let go of all that emotional burden you must feel. I know that one day you'll read that again ... but this time you won't be sad or deppresed but happy ...

I pray that everything turns out well for you soon .... and cheer up ... I'm sure there's a lot of people out there who care for you, or in here in VGC :)

exercise has helped a bit in the short term.

follow up with a session of masturbation. It also helps prevent prostate cancer :)

Shit happens. Tough it out.

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

1.) Tell them how you feel. Just because the relationship is over doesn't mean that you can't be friends. The things that you two enjoyed are still things you two can share. Watch a movie. Listen to music. Just keep in mind that things may not get better. People break up everyday. There are other people out there with similar qualities of your ex.

2.) Fake it. You're going to feel bad for a while. Don't let it consume you. Pretend you're having fun. Suprisingly, and eventually, you will!

3.) Get out of that house. It's hard to forget something that you have to see all of the time.

4.) Punch her in the back of the head. She deserves it*

*don't punch her in the back of the head. She doesn't deserve it. A year isn't really that long. It may be a good thing that you two broke up. Find out what went wrong with this relationship. Was she the problem, or were you? Use this time to better yourself. You'll make better choices next time.

and I know there really isn't a good answer for this but.. is there anything a person can do to temporarily get your mind off a bad situation? I'm so depressed I can't function or live my life normally... I've been seeing somebody for over a year and we're living together and.. its ended and now theres nothing but awkward silence between us. It just feels like nothing will ever get better and I'll be stuck in this depression forever  and all of the things that I normally enjoy I just can't...

Like I've been looking forward to the release of Mario Kart since it was announced at E3 last year and its less than a week away.. and even that can't cheer me up. Sorry for rambling but I really needed to get some of this off my chest.

Hahaha, what a dramatic post. Going from a description of a paralyzing depression and serious relationship problems all of a sudden to... Mario Kart!
