Forums - Nintendo - Often forgotten Nintendo games you think deserved more recognition?

Jet Force Gemini was originally published by Nintendo, so I guess it counts for this topic. It's not as forgotten as Disaster: Day of Crisis or StarTropics, but it's still fairly forgotten, other than complaints about the admittedly poor controls.

Other than that, it had excellent music and satisfying combat. If Nintendo doesn't buy Jet Force Gemini (and other pre-Microsoft Rare IPs), then they should at least make a spiritual successor to it.

Though it received a lot of attention at the time, the original Starfox is quite overlooked and neglected today due to its very early 3D graphics, which is a shame as its a great game with a phenomenal soundtracks, awesome space opera action, and epic boss fights.

Kirby 64, Excite Truck, and Excite Bots were also fun games that are rarely talked about.

Star Fox is one of those games that didn't aged very well for some people. I like it though, revolutionary for the SNES.

I don't think Kirby 64 is that overlooked, but I never heard about Excite Bots.

Excitebots was the 2009 sequel to Excite Truck; crazy in the best way and highly enjoyable:

Mischief Makers N64
Eternal Darkness Gamecube

Mischief Makers is a Treasure made game, but yes it needs to be remembered.

How about Captain Rainbow on the Wii? The one where you find Birdo's vibrator to prove she is female. Wierd but interesting game.

Speaking of Treasure, more people should play the Sin & Punishment series.

Does anyone Remember Battalion Wars or Wario World on Gamecube?

I enjoyed both Wario World on the Gamecube and Wario Land Shake it on the Wii. We haven't had a good Wario game like these two in a long time.

Is your name based on the company that made the GPU for Gamecube before they were sold to ATi?

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Rhythm Heaven. Especially outside of Japan.

(Leynos)I remember but that wasn't it, it fits well with my name (Arthur). I probably tried "Ryu" and failed (usually my mc name)

never actually played Stunt Race FX

Pandora's Tower, this really needs to be made into a consistent franchise it's essentially a good 3D Metroidvania, it was over shadowed by Xenoblade and The Last Story.
