nvm. I’m not gonna argue with you guys. Not worth it. This forum has a negativity problem unlike anything I’ve seen on ResetEra or X.

Around the Network

This is the thing that throws me off with Nintendo sometimes. This game is terrible, and the overall franchise's quality keeps plunging. And yet it sells like bread.
And youd think, ok, thats fine, clearly some people like it, and the huge revenue Nintendo gets from it will ensure that the next entry is gonna be much better, and yet, no, its terrible. Even worse.

Worth noting Nintendo is not really the problem here. Gamefreak are joint owners with Nintendo & the Pokemon company... Seeing how Nintendo deals with their own fully owned IP like Mario, Zelda etc it's night and day.

It wasn't my intention to come across as negative so apologies if it came across that way; I also find the internet's obsessive negativity in general these days to be draining.

At the same time though, I feel like constructive criticism isn't inherently negative in itself; blind hate and trolling is one thing, and it's definitely a big issue, but at the same time I feel like there's nothing wrong with say people wanting a franchise they like to improve.

If people enjoy Legends Z-A than more power to them; I personally would just be more interested if it had the same level of technical quality as something like TOTK.

Oh no no no! You’re all good, Curl. That message was intended for users like Otter (who I had constructed a whole response to but ended up replacing with “nvm.”).

Honestly I don't quite understand because Curls prediction thread was pretty healthy imo, I think you latched on a bit too much to the critical aspects and making this sales thread a rebuttal to criticism in the OP isn't a good move... Yeah the billion dollar money machine remains printing money despite falling well short of fans hopes and expectations :/

Also through your own admission you're not even a Pokemon fan lol. Honestly let some of us rant because we actually crave a great pokemon game. The last I bought was Arceus, stopped playing it early because I wanted to wait for Scarlet/Violet to realize the open world fantasy and well... We know how that turned out.

Really though it's not that deep :)
