Huge SW2 and Z-A numbers

It shouldn't, since it's available on Switch 2 as well, anyone who needs to buy a new console to play it will get more value in the newest one

MK8 sold 77 million units. This is easily 3BI+ USD in profits
GTA V made 10 billion+ in revenue
Even if we are talking about ROI, then there is Minecraft, developed by 15 (I think) developers originally and sold by 2.5 billion units, not counting how much they already earned before the acquisition
Regardless, this should sell 15 million units, which even when discounting marketing costs still should generate well over half billion USD, but nowhear near the most profitable games of all time
Holy moly. I never got the appeal of Pokémon, but I need to pay some respects. I thought it would be big, but not this big.
Switch 1+2 Combined, the launch blows Tears of the Kingdom out of the water, and that I believed was the most anticipated Nintendo game of all time.

Nah, there will be lots of games that come before this including old pokemon games like Pokemon Yellow which likely had a skeleton crew compared to this but sold 15million.
Then there are indie hits Hollow Night which initial cost is likely <500k and sold 15m

...to avoid getting banned for inactivity, I may have to resort to comments that are of a lower overall quality and or beneath my moral standards.
That’s a pretty big jump in sales from a bundle. For comparison, when Super Mario Odyssey was released 126K Switches were sold in Japan.
Were probably gonna get Pokémon Gen 10 bundle next year if that game comes out that time. Though I wonder if a bundle with the next big 3D Mario game would sell way more than any other Pokemon bundle could.
Damn. Sad to see the Dreamcast-looking absolutely laziest Pokemon of all time still sell out like crazy. No hope for the franchise at this point. Consumers simply buy that stuff blind and don't care about being fed pure shovelware like Z-A. I mean granted user scores are god awful for it, but that hasn't stopped millions from picking it up right away. Sad state for the industry when such slop sells. After the unplayable disaster that was S/V, and the zero effort decades old seeming shovelware that is Z-A, I've lost all hope in Pokemon ever being good again. The games are now just the absolute lowest effort possible in order to sell a new round of pokemon merchandise.

I mean, you can always look at it in a more positive sense. If more people buy the ZA bundle, more people will have Switch 2s meaning more people will have access to more quality Switch 2 games that deserve more attention.
Wow I said “more” way more times than I should
