21% is the VAT (tax) on games in the Netherlands and included in the consumer price. Therefore to compare it's to take that in account.

0% in some states, 10%+ in other cities/states where cities tack on more for schools, police, fire fighters etc. The state itself might be 7% but the individual city or county might have a 1-3% tax added onto it.

It's supply and demand sadly. Nintendo should price their games lower, but they don't.
FF7 Intergrade at $60-$80 is a harder sell than Nintendo remakes and remasters. Especially on a Nintendo system.

To be fair, nintendo is very greedy and doesn't treat its fanbase, customer base and contractors very well. At the end of the day, no company is our friend or deserves our loyalty and they should be criticised for their greedy practices amd other shitty behaviour.

This package is a nice deal. Definitely puts on a start contrast to the Galaxy combo which should realistically be selling for $40 as well.
