Why is this image shown? It’s a mix of reasons.

His extreme variety of narcissism makes him want to appear good when we all know better. Trump’s guilt (or more likely seeing the problem after the Epstein files story broke) makes him want to do damage control. The dementia makes him think that Americans will buy it and be convinced that this is true. I’ve worked around old people with dementia before and they’ll try to slick you and bs you just as much as anybody but the obvious difference is that you can see through it all more easily.

Ex-Bungie composer Marty O’Donnell, who worked on acclaimed gaming soundtracks ranging from the original Halo: Combat Evolved to Destiny, is running for Congress. Again. But unlike the last time he lost, this time he finally has the endorsement of President Donald Trump, the man he once called an idiot.

“It is my Great Honor to endorse America First Patriot, Marty O’Donnell, who is running to represent the incredible people of Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District,” the president posted on Truth Social on April 14. It ended with: “Marty O’Donnell has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Representative from Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District — HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!”

O’Donnell is running against incumbent Democrat Susie Lee, whom Trump attacked as a “Radical Left Extremist” who supports “Transgender for Everyone.” The president said O’Donnell would “Champion our Nation’s Golden Age” by supporting the administration’s tax cuts and immigration crackdown.

The composer, who was fired from Bungie in 2014, called Trump an “idiot” on Twitter back in 2016 during the Republican primary, according to The Nevada Independent. In 2017, O’Donnell reportedly wrote that he preferred conservative intellectuals like William F. Buckley and Milton Friedman to Trump’s MAGA movement.

He ran for the same Nevada Congressional seat back in 2024 but came in fourth place in the Republican primary, the winner of which went on to lose the race to Lee by just 10,000 votes. O’Donnell has continued posting about politics, including his renewed electoral ambitions, ever since.

That included last fall, when Halo was used by the Trump White House for an ICE recruitment meme which likened undocumented immigrants to the series’ parasitic Flood. “When I defeat Susie Lee next year and get to Congress, I will work with the Trump administration to destroy the Flood once and for all!” O’Donnell wrote at the time.

“Much like President Trump, I didn’t come from the world of politics,” he posted on April 14 following Trump’s endorsement. “I spent my entire career in the business world. I had the honor of working with some incredible people and composing music for some of the greatest video games of all time. I’m not going to DC for fame or money. I’m going because I’m a grandfather who deeply cares about what type of country his grandchildren will grow up in.”

^ So disappointing when you learn that a good artist is a terrible person. That ICE Flood ad is one of the sickest things I've ever seen in modern American politics. To willingly associate yourself with that speaks volumes...

They're moving beyond stopping immigration.

I'm seeing increasing media from government officials and evangelical religious leaders advocating "remigration" (which is a fancy word for deportation) and now, even "recolonization," which denotes something altogether uglier.

There is a pastor in Arizona, Dale Partridge, who runs a FB page called Relearn.org, who has been posting about "taking back our home" with a five step plan of "Christianization, deportations, remigration, imprisonment, and recolonization." His posts are being shared by Representative Brandon Gill of TX-26. Gill is married to Danielle D'Souza, the daughter of convicted felon (and Indian immigrant) Dinesh D'Souza.

Trump isn't the only one literally deifying him now:

The evangelical equivalent to the Pope, Franklin Graham, is also violating the first two commandments in his adulation for his true messiah. Wonder what old Billy would say..

Trump 'tried to access nuclear codes but was stopped by military general'
The US President is still embroiled in the Iran war.

Trump is on thin ice at this point, JD Vance will be looking for any reason he can to use the 25th amendment against this horrendous joke of a president.

im also gonna have to say I told ya so here, bc both myself and LegitHyperbole have expressed concern over Trump having access to the codes given his dementia and lack of self control.

Donald Trump was ‘locked out of room’ during crucial meeting over behaviour
It has been claimed that the commander-in-chief was snubbed from the major discussions as his 'impatience wouldn’t have been helpful'

Could Trump soon be removed?

If that happened, it would be a miracle big enough to almost make me a believer in a higher power. Except that J.D. Vance would replace him.

What's more likely is that he could be essentially a lame duck, not only with Congress, but within his own administration. Of course, he can still rail and scream about it on social media. He's already screaming about the Supreme Court where he appointed three members and has two deeply compromised justices from the Bush/Bush Jr eras in his pocket.
