This brown nosing by omission kind of thing will stop happening when approval ratings slide lower and lower and he reaches the point where he can barely talk.

They stopped polling before Trump even hit the all-time lows for them of Truman, Nixon, and W. Bush. Those guys all had all-time lows in the 20s in at least one Gallup poll. Trump hasn't got there yet, but is getting close.

They're so afraid they'll get sued I guess despite the fact that their polls and reporting are clearly protected by the 1st Amendment. But Trump doesn't care about a free press. 

I know this is speculation, but if you were to poll every single person in the U.S. that is 18 or older, Trump is surely in the 20s by now. 

That's fine, other services will gladly take this up and get more viewers as a result.  These decisions get made all the time, but they always have to live with the result whether that's a good or bad thing.

I didn't watch the whole speech but some parts were indeed unhinged in the latter half. He even had a shouting match with one of the representatives
