Doesn't that just put Vance in the puppet seat... Vance will still do Trump's (and who ever is steering Trump) bidding.
Plus most of the democrats are stooges as well :(
There is also the risk that impeachment could rally MAGA behind Trump again.
And besides all that, November is still too far away. Political reform with new elections are needed asap. I just don't see how :(
For now maybe the judiciary can still stand up to Trump.

Stop killing what little hope I have for the future. -_-

Vance won't put us through another reign of terror. He's not good but he won't be that bad. Trump is also getting weaker. He will soon be drooling and I can't see anyone rallying behind Trump by the end of the year as he's quickly dealing.
Vance is much more of a lawful evil type if you like d and d. He won't be going nuts lol.

It's more that the people behind Trump (and Vance) will still be the same pushing their agendas. Trump often 'spills the beans' revealing who's bidding he's doing, even praising Miriam Adelson in the Knesset in Israel for her hundreds of millions of 'donations' to Trump...
The good thing about Trump passing away or becoming incompetent is that his base rallies behind his charisma (don't know why but people are weird) and Vance doesn't have that. Vance will still do his masters' bidding but won't be able to rally MAGA behind him like Trump can.
Vance will be sticking more to the script and not blab out things like Trump or post private conversations. But he also won't be able to rile up the MAGA base with Truth social nonsense tweets.
Trump forgets the word Alzheimer's in a hilarious exchange with reporters. I've also had multiple posts in here mentioning how Trump's variety of dementia affects language. And he's just now getting to the point where this is getting apparent as he's forgetting words and has displayed receptive aphasia.

‐‐----------------------------------------
At one point, Trump explained that his father, Fred Trump, had almost no medical conditions throughout his life, except for one.
“He had one problem,” Trump told reporter Ben Terris. “At a certain age, about 86, 87, he started getting, what do they call it?”
According to Terris, Trump then “pointed to his forehead and looked to his press secretary for the word that escaped him.”
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt then jumped in.
“Alzheimer’s,” Leavitt said, according to the magazine.
“Like an Alzheimer’s thing,” Trump said. “Well, I don’t have it.”
Terris then asked whether Trump thought about his father having Alzheimer’s disease, which is the most common form of dementia.
“No, I don’t think about it at all. You know why?” he said. “Because whatever it is, my attitude is whatever.”

That's a very dangerous calculation to make.
Iranians for instance thought this about the Ayatollah compared to the Shah, and look how that went. They thought that in China about Mao compared to Chiang-Kai-Shek, also didn't exactly work out. Cubans thought so about Fidel Castro, see where that lead to?
Long story short, never think that somebody won't be as bad and just a less bad replacement, as history shows time and again that they tend to be even worse.

Ok, well I think that anybody could be a horrible ruler and turn corrupt as happens in many cases, but only a few will be so bad and infamous that history would turn against them --- Mao, Hitler, Amin, etc etc.
So, while it is possible, it still isn't likely. And JD Vance seems to play by the rules a lot more than trump is willing to do. Basically, I don't have to like a president to be ok with them. He'll also be doing us a favor by getting us away from Trump so I'll definitely support Vance taking Trump's spot when Trump has his Nixonesque moment.

When you overthrow a regime, you get to ignore the existing rules and make new ones instead. That's a lot of power you get automatically in that situation. It's hard to see how Vance could end up having that much power, unless Trump has already consolidated so much power and Vance is capable of using it too (e.g. without lower popular support causing issues). Vance is probably more competent in a lot of ways but still bound by rules a lot more than Trump, if I had to guess.

I guess trump realized that he can't just be as evil as he likes.
