I'm certain that a significant amount of them are bots working to promote division and discord.

The problem is, there are clearly a significant number of real people among them as well, as we've seen with say the various game devs and other public figures who've shared similar sentiments on social media.

Even if say 90% are bots, the 10% that are not are still a problem.

I'd bet 90% of them are people, and only like 10% are bots (you have it backwards imo).
This is just how some on the left apparently *feel*, and there are lots of them like this, that don't type it but support it.

You have seen it often enough, to know that a large amount on the extreme left,
feel they hold a higher moral high ground (views) and thus justify this sort of thing.

Its not too long ago a Trans person shot up a school.
Lets not kid ourselves, the left are just as capable of violence as the right.

Yeah sadly I bet a lot more than 10% are real people.

I've seen people I know in real life saying this sort of shit on Facebook and such, it's kinda sickening nowadays how many people on both sides have been radicalised to the point where they think those who disagree with their political opinions deserve to die.

He was a person that spreded hate and violence. He was a person that advocated for the death of certain collectives. He was a person that would make her daughter have the baby of her rapist. And sadly, he had power and influence to spread all of that ideology.

I don't know if he deserved to die. But he was a bad person that was making the world a worse place for many people that actually never do any harm or pushed for any harm with their words (unlike him). That much I will say.

Maybe don't say it right now then eh?  Have some hummanity that you claim to have.

Maybe stop telling people what they can post and when they can post it, about a horrible human being? Neither user you've said that to has broken any rules, so they have no need to not post right now, and as I said before, if now isn't the appropriate time, next week won't be the appropriate time, or the week after, or the week after, because he'll still be dead.

Unfortunately this is the end result of decades politicians spend on destroying education system and dividing people, first to man and woman, then religion, then their skin color just so they can have belove average intelligent people they can easily manipulate through media.

It will only get worst and worst.

Sucker Punch just like any other company have the right not to associate with an employee if they don't want to.
Thats how I've always felt. That's always been my reaction.
Freedom of speech is not freedom of consequence.

How do people who advocate against cancel culture feel about this?
Because no doubt do some of the people pushing for this on social media have old comments where they say they're against cancel culture.

I remember a particular member of our forum in fact, who is still active, commenting in an article here where he said that "boycotting should be a last resort" regarding a company's political stance.
But on that exact same day, people in the Discord linked to tweets where he was saying we should boycot that company.

That's what I don't like about that discourse.
When people pretend to be against it when they're not, or vice versa.

Only a good Nazi is a dead Nazi. People seem to think spreading Nazi ideology is just political and should respect it, even if you disagree with it. Fuck off with that shit. No. Those people spread ideas and a cult of personalities that are just as dangerous, if not more so, than guns. These people strip away other people's rights to exist simply for not being like them and being gay. Disabled. Short. Fat. Too skinny. Too dark. Not Christian. You allow them to open one gate, and they all open. What Trump is doing is following a very similar playbook to Nazi Germany. Kirk was an ally to this movement and preached his poison that Trump and co preach. He wasn't a martyr, nor a hero, nor a tragedy, but a cockroach stamped out. Oppressors and people who spread oppressors' lies are not victims.

Mods. Do what you will but I am removing myself from this topic regardless.

Replace Nazi with Communist.

I don't want to go too far off on a tangent.

But communism is not inherantly evil. Unlike nazism.
It's basically just that society should be classless, moneyless, etc.

People often conflate it with authoritarianism, because the most known example of nations that claimed to be communistic were also authoritarian.
But that is something entierly different, and has occured in
nations that are capitalistic as well. Still does.

People that wish death on nazis are apparently doing so specifically because some nazis want certain groups of people dead based on their birth, as part of their ideology. There's no equivalence to that in communism.

Not sure if the angels and saints I learned about would behave like this.

So if someone condemns the attack on Charlie as horrible, but at the same time say they hope the shooter gets away, would that also be fine?

In theory yes.

In practise though, communism is responsible for some of the most brutal regimes in history, which killed tens of millions in the 20th century alone, more than even the Nazis.

Alright citizens of VGChartz, this has clearly not been a constructive thread and will thus now be locked.

Far to many assumptions, accusations, generalizations, attacks on others and more... And thus it has reached it's conclusion.
