My only grip with this kind of review system is where it's highly encouraged to basically rush trough a game to pump up a fast review which will likely lead to omit important factors and will feel less empirical as a result.

The game is now sitting at 92 with only 13 reviews. It'll be interesting to see how the opinions skews once the recency bias goes by.
It's a momentous moment for the indie scene, let's celebrate this fact at least !

We're up to 33 critic reviews on OpenCritic now, still at an average score of 92%. Similar reception on Steam, with 91% of reviews (in my language, English) positive after 58,772 player reviews. It appears to be pretty stable now. Looks like IcaroRibeiro's prediction was the most accurate.

Agreed, I'd be happy either way!

Or Donkey Kong, there a plenty of great games this year.

I have Donkey Kong, but haven't played it yet, so I can't comment too much on its quality.  But in my ideal world, GOTY will be taken home by the little guys.  Small teams, small budgets, not Triple A.  I want the industry to realize that these games are viable again.  Indie and Double A games.  Clair Obscur and Silksong embody this, and fit my tastes and views of the industry perfectly.

Best game I have played since Breath of the Wild. Absolute classic.
