Yeah it's a banger soundtrack, Nintendo's best in years. (Since Xenoblade 3 back in 2022 I'd day)

Excellent game too honestly, one of my favourites this year so far.

As somebody who prioritizes music above almost all other aspects in a video game, the OST alone makes MarioKart World my uncontested personal GotY. This is the greatest video game soundtrack I’ve ever listened to and it’s not even close.

Sounds good, but it's no Lords of Thunder or JSRF.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Interesting take. Have you played Expedition 33?

If you’re suggesting that E33 would contend with my personal GotY? That’s definitively possible…though it’d have to really blow me away. I’ve heard a lot of really good things about it, so I’ll definitely be looking for time to fit it in. If you’re suggesting E33 may have a better soundtrack? As a mostly Nintendo gamers AND somebody who is deeply passionate about live-recorded, wind symphony/piano music (as somebody who is very accustomed to traditional music, i.e. I have played FHorn and piano all my life and even studied music at university for a couple of year), that seems like an impossible feat. But, anything is possible, so I definitiely would not shoot the possibility completely down.

edit: also, I’m a good little Christian boy and turn down any game that I seems to be “too much” for me (e.g. I don’t like hurting humans in a video game..it doesn’t sit right in me). So, I’ll let you be the judge. Is E33 bad in this regard? I specifically do not enjoy when my character(s) are killing/hurt other humans. I’m pretty okay with all else. I’ve discovered it just weighs way too much on my conscience…IDK why.

The OST is amazing.

Really wish it was on Nintendo Music app.

Haven’t played the game myself but watching Youtubers play it, yeah, the soundtrack is indeed godly.

Currently playing it right now and its definitely GOTY worthy, but the ost specifically is really good. Music is also a collectable in the game where you collect tracks all over the world and play them on your gramophone back at camp.

Also, you kill monsters in the game, not humans.
