Hey, does anyone know why there are no longer threads about Xbox Live arcade sales numbers?? I'm dying to know how MM did.

Might I suggest that anybody who gets games earlier than everybody else before release (ie more than 3 or 4 days) posts when they got the game so that we can add that time into the one month you get in a contest to keep the league somewhat fair.

I've got a genuine review copy, I believe I can prove that because I got the game earlier than that it was online.

I agree about the review copy thing. A month is only fair, anymore time than that is not fair to the people waiting on a street copy.

Not that it matters to me personally, as I never win these things, but poor erikers wants to stand a chance ya know? :oP

Side note: I'm a published game reviewer and technology editor for a newspaper, I want a review copy!! How does one go about that?

Yes, I'm going to write for a college magazine. I study game design and they asked if some of us wanted to make game reviews (like 3-4 a month, so only for the best games) . This is actually the first review I will be writing. Because I study game design I've got lots of other very cool privileges, we can test games before they're coming out, we most of the time can get games cheap (and software too) and hardware is very cheap for us. We are even getting debug unit's from probably both Microsoft and Sony.

Cool. Im quite sure you cant post your review on VGChartz due to your magazine copyright (or maybe you can?), but could you post your Achievement impressions? Something like a x/10 rating for Achievement fun and x/10 for Achievement difficulty. Also, are they more multiplayer/grinding/skill-based Achievements? This will help with the decision to make Races 4 or 5 weeks and whether its worth being a Platinum.

If the Achievements are more grinding based then the Race will be extended slightly. I think most Achievements are skill based enough to make it less favoured to people who get games earlier so it should be fine. And most of the time SleepWaker only gets it a week earlier, I think this is a special case.
