Finally got around to seeing this one (was too unwell to go to the cinema during its run sadly) and I loved it.

In a world where most modern cinema is ruled by cynicism and meta snark, it's so refreshing to watch something that's earnest and sincere; what you see is what you get. Sure it's cheesy as hell, but I'll take that any day over obnoxious irony and postmodernism.

The action and visuals are of course absolutely fantastic, and above all its just a rollicking good time, pure popcorn fun.

I actually think I prefer it over part 2.
