The fact Patapon is selling more on Switch than PS5 (that didn’t even chart) is crazy!

My prediction for next week's Famitsu charts:

*170k-180k Switch 2 unit sales (Biggest week since the launch week in Japan).

* 160K Mario Kart World sales.

* 150K Donkey Kong Bananza sales.

I think Donkey Kong Bananza is slated for a 200K+ opening in Japan (Including digital), and a 1M+ opening WW. One interesting fact is actually that Donkey Kong Bananza download code version has been selling more on Amazon Japan the last few days compared to the standard physical SKU for DK Bananza, this has previously only happened for Nintendo games when the physical SKU has been sold out on Amazon (Which isn't the case for DK Bananza). Which shows that digital costing 10 % less in Japan is leading more people than usual to buy the download code version instead.

Even more than the top 30 PS5 software sales.

Anyway because of the ape mood bring over the ape escape collection to switch aswell + a Parapa DK rap game.

Not surprising, Suikoden which got 5 games on PS1 and PS2 sold better on Switch than on PS5, even though Suikoden's identity is all tied into PS historically in Japan.

There are actually 6 Switch 2 games in the top 30 (22 for Switch).

It didn't chart at all because there is no physical PS5 version.

Cool to see It Takes Two on Switch still trucking along after 3 years; especially as both a late port and a Western game.

Fantasy Life i has done well also.
