Given the lack of a release window I'd say this is likely a second half of 2026 release. Switch's second year begins to take shape.

Japan in particular is gonna go nuts for this, Splatoon is practically a religion over there, it will sell a ton of hardware.

You could say that for a lot of Nintendo's franchises.

Splatoon, Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Mario.

Even some 3rd party franchises like Monster Hunter and Dragon Quest which we know will eventually make their way to Switch 2.
