is this not just a ROG Ally with some Xbox marketing attached?

Probably.

Except you can also play your Xbox game library on it, and it will have Xbox-like UI.

As an owner of a Z1E Rog Ally, I'm a bit disappointed with the design of this one. It looks comfortable, but way too big and ugly. Probably won't be upgrading to this. Will look at what other handhelds with the Z2E come out.

You can play your Xbox library on any gaming handheld PC with the requisite specs.

Exactly. It's pretty much pointless. If you have an ally. Slap a sticker on it. Boom Xbox Ally. What I have said for months lol

Only if they are play anywhere titles or you specifically bought them for PC. Or did I miss something?

Yeeaaa, so this is likely to be a competition to the Steam Deck now but frankly, I have 2 concerns about this device :

- This is too big of a device to consider this as a portable machine considering it even as controller type handles on its sides.

- Considering their unwillingness to subsidize on any kind of products anymore, I'm willing to bet this is gonna be EXTRA costly, close to a grand maybe ?
