Expect this game likely have a pretty big attach rate for the longest of time, despite the fact they've stated the MKW bundle to only last for a limited time. Nonetheless, I'm sure the game will find it's audience outside of that just like MK8DX.

It's just that great from the start. And the addition of the Free Roaming mode is basically the only way they could've seriously one'd up the competition in the genre currently.

I really enjoy the time trial mode. MarioKart isn’t a game which intends for you to “experience new levels one time and move on”; it’s about building your driving skills and strategizing the quickest routes/mushroom usage around every course. MKWorld’s time trial mode is admittedly a little underwhelming…though MK8D will have your heart rate sitting at 150bpm lol. Super addictive once it clicks!

I expect 50 million minimum with the Switch 2 selling over 100 million.

This is likely Nintendo's most universally approachable IP, and huge sales and attach rate will follow. I'd be surprised if it lands much under 50% attach rate.

Awesome that the Wii-U had the best attach rate. I loved that console. Sometimes, when I have it hooked up, I'll load the Miiverse app just to hear that intro music.

At least 3 million for world is a safe bet to say so far

This series has gotten crazy big even by Nintendo's standards. It's their GTA. Though I do wonder how much the new prices will affect it in the long run.

All I know is that Mario Kart World is going to easily remain the best selling game on Switch 2. People really understate how massive Mario Kart has become as a subfranchise. It has eclipsed mainline Mario games as a system seller and is also bigger than any other IP (Super Mario, Pokémon, and Zelda included) in the Nintendo gaming sphere at this point. This will be the fourth console in a row where Mario Kart is the biggest software seller, and I dont even think it will be close.

So far we already got the number figures for a couple of Euro countries, Japan and the US. This shit is slaying easily early on. Of course, it'll remain as a mainstay for the system as was BOTW and MK8DX early on in the console lifespan.

Don't know if the pace will be about the same and what to expect from holiday bundles but dev teams over at Nintendo might be feasting from the early success building new content for it as we speak !

The attach rate on Wii U surely has to be the best one ever for a game not bundled. Pretty insane. MKW has a huge edge to continue the #1 streak for the franchise if Nintendo keeps the bundle in circulation.
