With the launch of the Switch 2 NDS is in full swing. Post all your dumb anti-nintendo memes here. Anything that isn't valid criticism and fits the description below. Explain why the meme is dumb, not valid, or has a double-standard. Or if you have a good example of someone just having double-standards when it comes to Nintendo and other gaming companies explain and post them here.

For Example: Nintendo charges $80 for Mario Kart World. That is reasonably seen as greedy by anyone who doesn't know how much Switch 2 carts cost to make and doesn't know about the bundle that gets you the game for $50. But then that very same person is perfectly fine with paying Valve or Microsoft $10 for a digital fucking hat. 

^This meme is idiotic because it intentionally removes all new good Switch 1 games, even in the first year. There's no Odyssey, no Xenoblade 2, no Rabbids. 



^This meme is dumb because it completely ignores everything that made the Wii U a failure. 

^ I like the Steam Deck and think it's good value. I like the Switch 2 and think it's good value. Getting angry because the Switch 2 is $450 in 2025 when the Steam deck was $400 in 2022 is the height of double standards. 

How dare they not announce the price in the initial Direct that most people didn't even watch and make us wait a few minutes for the information to trickle down to us. Yeah most of the complaints are nonsense.

The thread isn't limited to memes. Videos that are obviously misinformation are also encouraged. This video for example is of a charity-scammer attempting to claim that he has somehow "saved" every single 3DS and Wii U game from extinction. Nevermind that people already did this in 2019 when the 3DS was delisted. Nevermind that people pirated and attacked the Wii U before it was discontinued. Nevermind that most Wii U and 3DS games were made as physical versions that will exist for decades. 

Aand here we have this scumbag using 17 minutes to complain that Nintendo has the same EULA that Sony and Microsoft have had for years. But he doesn't mention Sony or Microsoft's same EULA that bricks consoles. Lying by omission is misinformation.

Its just popular to hate on Nintendo right now. It gets you the views. People have some legitimate concerns, but its a lot of clickbait stuff right now. It will pass.

Here's my Gamecube collection. I have 50 games at an average price of $49.97. All my games are CIB. I have several expensive games like Fire Emblem, Skies of Arcadia, and Melee. I did not pay the listed price for any of these games because I am patient and wait for deals. But overall Gamecube games are cheap and affordable. Don't let anyone online tell you that though. Nintendo is ANTI CONSOOMUR for not rereleasing all of these games!

Yeah Nintendo Derangement Syndrome has been off the charts the last couple of months, with grifters and trolls working overtime spreading FUD and misinformation.

I feel like a lot of people still secretly wish for Nintendo to go third party so they can play their games on PS/PC, and so they try to sabotage their hardware because they desperately want them to fail.

Thankfully, it seems their efforts were in vain as people showed up in force anyway.

Man, I could have used this the other day when chatting with friends who were tripping over Nintendo's EULA and the recent Switch update that went with it. Don't get me wrong, I think it's BS to completely brick a paying customer's product, but a lot of people are only mad at Nintendo because it said the quiet part out loud.
