Who will hit first the pre-estimated numbers and when?

Wii hits 8 and 360 hits 10 in the same week Then wii hits 10 before 360 hits 11 Then Wii hits 11 before 360 hits 11

Wii will hit 8.000.000 just after the second week of june... but the 360 will break the 10.000.000 mark at the end of june in the best case scenario... although the wii will surpass the 360 wolrdwide after the release of MP3 in america... end of august...

Here is one way to figure it out..in 2007 Wii has sold 225,150 per week, which is 128,400 higher than what 360 has sold on average in 2007. If sales continued like that for all of 2007 (they won't), Wii would be ahead by Sept 22 (18 weeks from now).

The problem is that the 360 is doing very bad in japan. I think Nintendo will win the console war because the wii is selling like hot cakes in japan and the 360 isn't selling at all.

Wii is selling much faster ,and it will surpass X360 in a question of months .And not a lot of months ,but few . Basically the Wii must be selling some 250K in Europe monthly for some 80K X360 sold at best ,between 200K and 300K in Japan against 10K for X360 ,and in NA the X360 is selling 174K last month for 400K the Wii .So in a single month the Wii should put between 580K and 650K consoles more that the X360 worlwide .THe X360 still has some 2.5 million advantage on the Wii ,but at this rates the Wii will catch up in 3-4 months ....maximum 5 months .

wii sales are still ridiculous. my coworker lined up at 4 something am at target on sunday and there were people in front of him in line already. by 6am, all 30 people are already in line so people who came to line up after 6am couldn't get a wii. (at target in silicon valley). i think xbox 360 sales will slow down and wii will continue its strong demand at least till after the holidays '07
