Forums - Nintendo - Switch owners, what are you going to do with your Switch when you buy Switch 2?

I like that Switch games on Switch 2 with IR controls will still work as long as you use Switch JoyCons.
I'm keeping my Switch and will hook it up to my bedroom 1080p TV while Switch 2 will take its spot on my 4K bigger screen TV.

Keep it, still use it to play stuff like Metroid Prime 4, Eternal Life of Goldman, Prodeus: The Elder Veil, etc, while using my Switch 2 for actual Switch 2 games.

I always keep my old hardware as I often revisit them, still got my SNES from 1994, my N64 from 1998, etc.

Turn it into an emulation device probably. My OG v1 Switch needs a CPU fan replacement though. The current one's bearings cause it to make a clunking noise when I play it. Was thinking of maybe buying one of these and converting it into a boxed console.
