As per usual liking myself some long winded systems that gets expanded or more fun over the time you invest in them.

Exploring the world of X is always such a good damn treat imo.

The story direction doesn't have to be one to one with the mainline game for me to enjoy it's explorating and mostly great side content anyway.

Also, some of you are incredibly fast. I've only clocked down 20 hours in 2 weekend sessions and only barely touched Oblivia and Noctilum so far while still in between Chapter 3 and 4 ....

Yeah the original release on Wii U, while it had many impressive qualities, was also significantly flawed; the story felt barebones and incomplete, and it was often very user-unfriendly.

It needed an overhaul to reach its full potential, and thankfully Nintendo seem to have delivered on that.

I hired level 99 avatars online for an hour and shot up from level 32 to level 50 in 45 min lol.

Leynos, your Skell looks like it’s on steroids.

So freaking sick !

Gosh, can't wait to get mine in game 😁

Although I kinda low key wish we get other new skell models for the additional portion of the game.

First 10 hours of pure joy already. Almost all of "overworld" Primordia explored (except the unreachable heights, of course) and, despite doing [almost] only side-quests, I find traversing the world sooo funny and enjoyable: finding your way from one point to another, evading dangerous foes, jumping over rocky terrain (or climbing it), looting stuff, finding and watching scenic landscapes, managing your inventory and your FrontierNav Network and, of course, battling awesome desgined enemies, everything feels fresh and unique... And I have yet to start diving in the story (because, yeah... despite somehow "hidden", there's so mucho lore and stuff here...).

I played the original on Wii U until I got my Skell, invested some more hours and left it (never got the flying ability), and yet the game manages to feel so good again... And, oh boy, you can see how this title was so important for Breath of the Wild... All the basics of post-calamity Hyrule are here: the structure and "tricks" of the terrain, the key points that unlock info about the surroundings, the environment interactions...

I understand how this game can feel intimidating for some people, there are so many systems and so many information to get used to that can feel pretty overwhelming, specially in the first hours... But the depth and enjoyment its mechanics and world provide are over-the-top. Just have to jump into it with time and patience! =D
