This is the best game to ever come out since Ocarina of Time. I just cannot wait to play it!
84 for the Wii U original. The new score is an improvement over the original for sure.
On Switch, this seems to be the final Wii U port/remaster.

No surprise. Stil glad to see. Xenoblade X is a fantastic game.
Did tastes change? The original Xenoblade X had a lower average score. Normally, ports get lower scores, but this game is nearly ten years old now!
Proof it was misunderstood back in the day.

From what I've seen in reviews a lot of the biggest issues in the original release have been fixed, plus some extra content.

Xenoblade Chronicles X struggled to run on Wii U. Required a ton of eShop patches…i think? I’d imagine Switch version just runs a whole lot smoother, on top of several QoL enhancements.

off-topic but I have to disagree to your claim of “biggest Pikmin fan on VGChartz.” I believe there need be a repoll b/c I’m on this site now, and I am certainly the biggest fan here atm.
Glad to hear they have fixed many of the original's faults.
The game itself was still very good, with one of the best open worlds in all of gaming, but the Wii U version could be a bit impenetrable at times. The addition of more story content is also welcome as the original was a bit too lean in this regard.
I'm not buying it again, but its nice that those who are interested will be able to experience it in a more polished form.

The Wii U version actually ran extremely well for an open world game on such weak hardware, with a rock solid 30fps at almost all times. The eshop downloads were to speed up asset streaming so you got less pop-in and shorter load times.
Yeah X ran pretty well on Wii U. It's main drawback was pop in for skells and people. I'm hope that's better on Switch. Maybe not much better given Switch hardware but hopefully enough where it's not a distraction.
