Much like the Wii with Galaxy 1/2, Ocarina of Time and Mario 64 seem to dominate the discussion when it comes to the best game on N64.

So if we set those aside for a moment, what do you think is the best N64 game besides those two, and what's your argument for why it's the best?

Pokemon Stadium

Goldeneye 007 is the immediate one that comes up next in my mind. Sooooooo many pizza fueled gaming weekends with cousins or classmates!

Pokémon Stadium would have to get an honorable mention though.

Since, SM64 is ineligible, my pick is Banjo-Kazooie.

I’d argue this is Rare’s masterpiece. Everything is great — the music, sound design, writing, character abilities, level designs, sense of scale, and, most essentially, the feeling of adventure, exploration, and discovery.

Star Fox 64!
