One of the few non PC games my friends and I play together. We prefer it on console.

Always fun to take down the monsters with friends.

I wish I had friends.

Tried to get into the franchise a few times, but I just cant. Gameplay is just too slow imo.

If they do another Beta or you can get rise on PS+ try the Insect glaive. I hated the slow gameplay too until I found that weapon, without it I wouldn't play these games. It's fast and agile combat.

IGN with an 8. They gave Dragon Age Veilgaurd a 9/10

I smell something off. IGN, games radar and gamespot giving this an 8/10 is concerning. They'd give a game about taking a shit a 7/10.

I so wanna buy in but Rise is too fresh for me and I think I'll wait the two years for the expansion them bundled together on sale and progress through the base game then go straight to Master rank and get that extra edge on getting the base game to HR 100 without the dozens of extra hours of grinding the same stuff, this method worked really well for Rise and Sunbreak and it was enjoyable then I keep progressing the expansions MR ranks until I get bored or it gets too difficult to solo and have a soft end game with that but no fuss about actually beating the expansion.

Maybe they'll have the technical issues sorted by then or I'll have a PS5 pro/PS6 and get the best experience. Fingers crossed they have a manageable trophy list.

Graphics really have hit there peak last gen. MH world looks no lesser than this or there's a very minor upgrade but mainly on the monsters themselves and just some atmospheric changes. World had better resolution on pmps4 pro before upscaling and checkerboard rendering left less artificating. At least it doesn't look as sickeningly sharp as it did in previews, I prefer this softer look on PS5 over the PC version maxed which looks to sharp for my eye.

My biggest gripe with this game so far is the health bar which is really impractical.

accessibility/simplicity to attract more gamers outweighs its challenge that hardcore fans from the franchise may hate or dissapoint...

If reviewers complain about something then it is that part of the game....
