The more RPG Digimon games we get, the closer they lean into the Persona/SMT style vibes it seems.

Game is looking clean though, that's definitely what you'd expect from a next gen Digimon experience !

Excited to have a new digimon game! Wish it would find a bit of its own aesthetic & tone of voice though, something I think the OG movie managed masterfully. Here it does feel a bit too Atlus inspired without the same level of polish. Also considering its current gen only (No Switch), a shame we're stuck around PS3 level production values.

It was about time dammit

I admit this would come across to me as "just another generic JRPG" if not for the Digimon brand, but it does look like a step forward from Cyber Sleuth in many ways. Hope it turns out good.

This looks good. The bio-domes are varied, and the settings look fantastical. Which is kinda what you want in a rpg.

I'm hoping writing greatly improves. I hated Cyber Sleuth's writing.
