It's a boy Scout thing. Essentially a gathering of different scout groups. Still happens every year. But then the Hitler Jügend, did dress up like boy Scouts, so that is that.
Echoes of Wisdom has already outsold the original releases of Link's Awakening, Majora's Mask, Skyward Sword, Spirit Tracks, Minish Cap, Oracle of Ages/Seasons, and is closing in on Zelda II.

@curl-6 Echoes of Wisdom has already passed the Wii version of Skyward Sword, which was at 3.67 million. We'll see if it passes SS HD though. 4.15m as of 12/31/2022, so probably closer to 5m at this point. I imagine Echoes would pass it, but we'll see if Echoes falls off a cliff going forward.

Ah, I was going by VGChartz figures, guess they were off.
Speaking of which, it's also closing in on A Link Between Worlds, (4.26m) and should pass it fairly soon.

Exactly that! Every Switch game will be playable on Switch 2 anyway. There could be some (smaller) cross gen games but every system will have its own lineup. Nintendo is known for that. They are known to support theor handhelds around 2 years after the sucessor launched. Why not here?!
On course to pass the 160 million mark! They don't have to cross the Atlantic anymore, only the English Channel remains!
Pikmin 4, Metroid Dread and Metroid Prime deserve so much more sales :(

True, but Dread and Pikmin actually did really well for what they are, outselling every other entry in their franchises.
They're just niche games.
