Converted all my Bank of America reward points at the beginning of the month into $600.00 of Amazon gift cards in anticipation of an early Switch 2 release. Another day 1 free console for me.

Hopefully day one if possible, if not within the first year.

I’m most likely doing day 1. They have to have 0 games announced for me to not buy it and we already know we are getting Mario Kart. So there’s that.

Highly likely but those other handhelds that have entered the market are looking nice too.

I'll probably wait a year or two after launch to get it. I still have plenty of Switch games to finish (not to mention the inevitable Nintendo Selects), so I'm not in a hurry.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I've only ever gotten one platform at launch, 3DS. Even Switch I got in July 2017.
If I have a better paying job later this year or lower debt I'd consider getting Switch 2 close to launch. As is, it will probably be a few months to 6 months or after launch that I get it.
May-June would probably be out of the question for me to buy it if it launches in those months.

After what happened with me and my Switch.... nah, I'm good.

The Switch has become my last ever traditional console to buy from that side of the pond. I've no real interest in going through all that again, paying for online, the higher prices for the games on the eshop, the emu's being tied to online checks/subscription.

Just want to make it crystal clear that I don't hate Ninty, I'm just disappointed with my overall experience with my Switch and the eshop/paid online experience. From here on out I'm more likely to wait for a Steam Deck 2 after I eventually get around to upgrading my rig (Since the Deck would be the only price I pay and have access to my entire library I have there, which is more than what I ever owned digitally on my Switch, so that becomes a bigger benefit and more sway for me getting a Deck 2).

I've enjoyed pretty much all of Ninty's previous handhelds for decades, but the Switch was possibly my more expensive and lesser experience than what I bought from that line before.

Sorry to hear that. Hope you’re feeling better soon.
