Bioware is probably going to go under, because they choose to go full on woke representation.
The thing is, trans people probably make up like 0.1% of the population (even less than parts of the LGBTA+)
If something is offputting to like 90% of the population that arn't LGTBA, and you make it a focus of your game..... its gonna sell poorly.
Which is fine... as a developer or programmer, as long as your okay with your game doing poorly.

Incorrect. If Bioware is going under, it's because their previous 3 projects have been disasters. Dragon Age Veilguard is better received than the last several Bioware games.

Dragon Age Inquisition had gay and trans characters.

Maybe good games are good and bad games are bad?

Or maybe BG3 and Hades where never really woke games? I seriously don't recall anyone having any issues or calling these games woke.

That's because in general

"Extremely woke" game that ends up being great = not actually woke.

Whereas a bad game doesn't even need to be woke, it's woke anyway as evidenced by it being bad.

If we're being honest, Bioware if they weren't called Bioware would have had the bullet put into them after Anthem. Andromeda already caused Bioware Montreal to take a beating as well. There isn't much left to trim. But Veilguard still looks far better than Anthem and better than Andromeda so it is a upward curve, in fact it makes me more optimistic for Mass Effect 4 to come off Veilguard rather than fucking Anthem, Lol. That might be silly though because Dragon Age and Mass Effect are led by different teams.

Could I have some examples of games that have included LGBT+ stuff or other minorities in both good and very poor ways?

The amount of steps to join a religion doesn't change it from being a religion, it's still not a race.

Conversely... The other two Abrahamic religions also have "steps" to join. I.E. Baptism for example with Christianity, with some denominations going to extreme levels like abstinence and so forth... And other denominations forbidding marrying of non-Christians or those that dont adhere to that specific denomination.
https://www.thecrosspensacola.org/membership-process

Jews originate from the "israelites" and share common ancestry with other middle-eastern peoples like the Arabs.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genetic_studies_of_Jews

Muslims can be even more extreme than Christians.

All three religions are cut from the same cloth, so it only makes sense that they share commonality with their rules like not eating pork.

Not a race but Eastern European Jew for example consider a ethnicity or at the very least there is something in my DNA linking me to that group of people.  I sent in a DNA kit and 100% eastern European Jew is what the results said so there clearly something in my DNA they looking at.

I think you should ask your money back Besides some isolated tribe in a rain forest, I don't think anybody is 100% this or that.

I have to disagree with the Baptism for Christianity as you do not have to do it to be a Baptist.  Christianity is probably the most lose when it comes to traditions and practices since there are so many different denominations.  Those denominations just teach in a different style more than anything else but there are no criteria you need in order to call yourself one of those denonminations.

Baptist is a denomination... Aka. A "variant" of the Christian religion/Bible interpretation.
Baptism is a process for "recruiting" someone to join said religion.

And you are right, there are a ton of denominations... Over 45,000 in-fact using quick google-fu.
But Muslims and Jewish also have different denominations as well... And whilst not as many in sheer number as the Christian religion, they do have significant variances in traditions, recruitment and religious rules/requirements/regulations/expectations.

My parents forced me to join a Church when I was a child, 7th day Adventist to be exact which are extremely conservative in it's ideology, right down to requiring a baptism to join it. - I would even go as far to call this Church a cult.

Either way, their attempts at indoctrination failed on this Atheist... Likely made easier when they tried to preach to me that Homosexuality is a choice and that it is an abomination.

It's ethnoreligious group, much like Hindus. In the US, it seems that the jews are considered an oppressed minority, whereas in Europe only a dead jew is a good jew - for the left atleast - because that's when you can call victimhood. The same people who chant "from river to sea", are people who are worried about increasing antisemitism. And that's wokeness.

If you go back to my previous posts, I called it an ethnoreligious group.
And no. It's not "wokeness". Which is a bullshit term anyway.

As for Europe and the Jews... There has already been a war over it, world war 2 to be exact. Europe supported the Jewish.

As per the evidence I provided earlier, they share common ancestry with the Arabs.

Yup. The worth 'Semite' is literally derived of a language group that next to Hebrew also contains Arabic, Amharic (spoken in Ethiopia), Tigrinya (spoken in Ethiopia and Eritrea), Tigre (spoken in Sudan), Aramaic (spoken in Lebanon, Syria, Israel, Iraq and Iran) and Maltese.

That's because most people don't complain as much about woke games, they complain about bad games.

If Hades and BG3 aren't "woke" most of the games you mentioned aren't either...

It has no context for me since I have not played the game.  I do not know why they are having this conversation.  I do not have any reference to the characters or the plot of the game or how the game attempts to grow or give context to each of the characters.  If anything its exactly what I see a lot of people do.  They will find some out of context video then make a whole story based on that short bit which is what I feel you are doing.  You have not played the game. You have no real understanding of the characters, how they grow and develop within the RPG or even what lead to that single scene but you make a determination on the whole game based on your perceived bias.  I am sure I could pull a gay scene from the Mass Effect and build a whole scenario from that point but would it be representative of the whole game.

I never felt preached to while playing Mass Effect.

How can you feel preach to when you have not played the game?

Nowadays “woke” is anything with a female or non-white character in it.

You know the funny thing is, I actually enjoyed Anthem.  Probably one of the best flying mechanic in any game I have played.  Flying and underwater tech is probably top tier and the combat, abilities and enemies abilities were all top notch.  The problem with Anthem was consistent content.  For a service game it was just to bare bones and never could hit its stride but the game itself was a very well made game.  I actually still go to it now and then with some friends because its fun to play and the servers are still up.
