Just curious which nationality you would prefer be our emissary.

Good plan. They will commit suicide in no time.

Japan wouldn't even let them in

You know that the japanese would be so into that.
Tentacles.
This story is so funny. It's such a non-event that has turned into massive news coverage due to a self-feeding cycle of conspiracy theories and drone owners doing night flights for the LOLs, making the cycle repeat.
Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.
Hank points out that seeing lots of weird things in the sky, becomes pretty common after there's a single sighting of something, because people start looking up at the sky and aren't familiar with what they're looking at.

Hank and John Green always bring about such measured, thoughtful, and nuanced responses to the events going on around us. Thankful for the treasure trove of fun, insightful, and very educational videos Crash Course has brought to us.
I don't really care much to speculate myself, but one account from what seems like a fairly smart person I've been following on social media seems convinced there's a decades-long coverup of UFO stuff, based on his research, and supposedly all this isn't even covered up all that well, it just requires you to look. That account also seems to think this is UFOs, with the most recent thing I've seen being that orbs are the thing and the drones are the coverup. Dunno if that's true or not and don't care enough to look into it, because it has zero effect on my life, but it's a thought. Take this with a grain of salt of course, especially since that person has made some dubious assessments about other things recently. Just thought I'd bring this up since people seem interested to speculate, and UFOs don't seem to have been mentioned here very much.
For the record, I don't have a strong assessment of whether UFOs here on Earth are a thing, but it's something I've been seeing on social media and considered an interesting area of research.

The Travis Walton story is pretty cool. I've seen some interviews of his,and the whole Fire in the Sky movie. His abduction gave him PTSD and was highly traumatic to be treated like a lab rat.
