"So Capcom's artists swiped (swiped back?) some IGN-watermarked art and it made it onto the game's cover. Whoops. Oh well, everyone makes mistakes, right Capcom? What's important is not the mistake, but the fact the company are going out of their way to make amends. If you've already picked up a copy of the game that features the IGN watermark, and would like a replacement cover, visit this website and Capcom will send you a new one, free of charge. You even get a choice of covers: you can pick from the original, or from two snappy pieces of art (shown after the jump) cut and polished into "high quality" game covers."

That's actually pretty cool, especially since I couldn't stop noticing the IGN watermark after reading that other article about it. Just ordered 3 new covers. =P

Let's see how we can spin this into a negative.

Does Capcom actually think this will increase sales? lol!

EDIT: Screw it. This is freakin' cool, and those are freakin' sweet pictures. 

I don't think the IGN mark is so bad. I'll probably keep the cover on the case as a fun reminder of Capcom's screw up.

this is beyond awesome of Capcom, and the two new covers are fantastic. I'm sure most people didn't even notice the slip up.

That's pretty awesome for what's really a minor mistake.

Haven't bought okami yet, but I'm filling out to get the alternate covers any way, they both look great

Capcom planned this as a publicity stunt.

As a side note, I think I'm gonna get the green one.  ^_^

No. I don't have the game and I ordered one.

I'll be buying the game sometime next month.  I figure if I can order 2 I'll get the 2nd one for my PS2 version haha.
