Well, it's competing with the PS1 for me, but I imagine the PS1 wasn't too bad for its time. But I guess that judging by the fact that it's the only console ever (that I'm familiar enough to remember off the top of my head) that's actively making me not want to buy it based on its looks, yes, I'd say it's bad and maybe even the worst. The real criminal is the atrocious DualSense controller however. Who thought it would be a good idea to mix the colours like that? And get rid of the colours on the buttons? If the ridiculous price of the console wasn't putting me off from buying a PS5, the DualSense would be.

Pity I can't do this with my slim cause it's a separate white module. 

Why are so many of you obsessed with the look of a PS console, or any console for that matter? It's not like you dating it, or anything remotely close to that.

Hell, all my consoles are covered in black bandanas, not because I don't want to look at them, but for the fact that I don't want dust to get into them.

I thought about hiding it behind my TV so I don't have to look at it but I need access to the ports. :(. What do these bandanas look like, will it obscure the ugliness, I'm half tempted as is to spray paint it black. 

Trust me, the bandanas do the job - they keep the dust out of your console/DVD player/stereo/speakers, etc...

Nope its gotta be the PS3 super slim or what ever they called it. that thing looked like a temu knock off.

Super Slim is ugly but reliable. Had it for 12 years and no problem. Also I am always in favor of top loaders over trays and slots.

Holy shit, the super slim is hideous, okay, we have a winner. The PS5 is the second ugliest console from Sony.
