Yeah Xbox version would have sold as much as PC + PS5 versions combined.
(Reality: 100k max).

Can't Wait for Silent Hill f. Let's hope Ryukishi07 is still the main writer.

Indeed. But I'm a bit afraid, since they announced it back in 2022 and never gave us an update.
Ryukishi07 is one of my favorite writers. I still remember back in 2014 when I was playing Umineko No Naku Koro Ni. The best 150 hours of my gaming life.
I don't think the 3 people who owns Xbox will make a difference.
Plus, I'm thinking Sony are giving them incentives for exclusivity... like higher profit margin or something.
Dude I hope you are joking, because this is just basic math.
Let's suppose the ratio is:
500k - Ps5
500k - PC
According to vgchartz ps5 is at the moment 60.91 Millions and for Xbox is 29.88
So we have
60.91. 29.88
500k X
X = SH 2 Remake Sales on xbox.
Doing basic algebra we get that:
X = 245k
That's what Star Wars: Outlaws managed in its first month. Tired as I am of all the remakes right now, Silent Hill 2 is at least old enough and good enough to warrant one.

Xbox the saviour of all games with its tiny dead last market share and rental service LOL.
You should feel worried for STALKER 2 devs being locked on xbox for 3 months instead, Steam sales would have to carry that game hard without PS5 sales to help.
