They put out a short statement, I don't imagine they'll say much else beyond that and leave it to Nintendo's army of lawyers to handle the rest. Personal information was leaked and the dude is bragging about having source code, if this dude is found out then Nintendo is going to absolutely destroy his life.

Hope he covered his tracks well enough... and goes dark.
I would not want to f*** around with Nintendo lawyers.

An apology letter that talks about personal information for employees being compromised and how/what they can do for further inquiry.

No mentions of game assets, IP assets, etc.

This would have been amazing.....especially directed by someone who works on the Detective Conan movies (which all of them have been awesome).

While we don't know if this was canceled or is just in dev hell, many of these leaks do come across as GF internally thinking about a lot of creative, bold stuff and wimping out in the end.

Also, if the leaker does have source code for both A-Z and gen 10 games, big oof if these ever get leaked. Like, literally no legal suit could even come close to making up for one percent of the amount of damage this could cause.

I dont think GameFreak directly has control with the anime or movies, probably just a material that was shared to them in regards to details needed when they make the next game.

The Pokemon Company deals with the manga, movies , merchandise and anime.

I dont think they would have  the source code for Z-A , that would be pretty bad lol

Could just as likely be The Pokemon Company or Nintendo cock blocking anything deviating too far from the status quo. GF is the dev that ultimately does what its told with the IP.

Reception of Black/White made them change on their onlook of not using older pokemon, hopefully with what happened with Scarlet/Violet will improve the next gen.
