Forums - Politics Discussion - 2800 people injured, at least 12 dead and 170 in critical condition in Pager explosions. Hezbollah blames Israel.

This means Israel had to have either factories of their own, that makes them (unlikely).
These companies are lying or unaware....

or and this is much more likely.....

They intercepted shipments and then opened units up, planted bombs in them, and then put them back on the market (with non the wiser).
They must have known were hezbollah bought their pagers from (in general) and somehow gotten their hands on these and reworked them.

Still this is insane.

Imagine your Job is to break into a warehouse, open up pagers on the spot (or replace them with pre-worked on models), rework them, and then leave them there, without anyone knowing you broke into said warehouse, and altered the contents there.

For that to work, you also must know where these sales end up, what time, its likely to member goes to buy from said place ect ect.
So there's a ton of intelligence work likely attached to something like this.

Again... insane that it worked.

The thing is, something like this only works once.
You bet your arse that now, they'll learn to open up and inspect things before just buying or carrying around.

I still can't believe this. 😪 It's such a wild thing to set up as an operation let alone pull it off. Isreal has gone wild, anyone still saying this is normal par for the course stuff for Isreal/Muslims at war are brain dead. Ffs, just look at the size of this bomb below, are they running out of smaller armaments so they've started using the big stuff. I'm afraid we are in the early stages of World War 3 and it's already war like we've never seen before from Russia financially supporting useful idiot political influencers to spread Ukraine hate and make Russia look good in the Conservative media to isreal blowing up electronic devices.

"BREAKING Israel has hit Lebanon with a massive bomb, bunker buster or even a tactical nuclear weapon judging by the initial flash."

Please people, do not post stuff from mentally deranged folks.

It doesn't matter what she said in the tweet it's the size of the bonb I'm talking about. That a LOT of chemical explosives. An absolute fuck ton or something close to a MoAB.

It hit a weapons depot supposedly.
Guess that probably caused the explosion to be bigger than just the bombing they dropped alone would have been.
I seriously doubt this was a nuke, tactical or not.

However this is still a big explosion.... normal bombs can still do those, if what you drop is big and powerfull enough for it.

The thing is, whats the next step if your already dropping bombs these sizes? jebus.

Norway investigates possible link into Lebanon pager explosions

Norway has begun a preliminary investigation into reports that a Norwegian-owned company was linked to the pagers that exploded in Lebanon last week.

“[Norway’s security police, PST] has initiated a preliminary investigation to determine whether there are reasons for starting a [full] investigation on the basis of allegations in the media that a Norwegian-owned company may have been involved in the dissemination of pagers to Hezbollah,” PST lawyer Haris Hrenovica told Reuters news agency.

Bulgarian authorities began investigating Sofia-based company Norta Global last week. The company was founded in 2022 by Norwegian citizen Rinson Jose.

Jose has been working in the sales department of DN Media Group since 2020, according to the company and Jose’s LinkedIn profile. He left for a conference in Boston, US on September 17, but his employer told Reuters they have not been able to reach him since he last contacted his colleagues by email on September 18.

The pager explosions in Lebanon killed 39 people, wounded thousands and are widely believed to have been carried out by Israel, which has neither confirmed nor denied its involvement.

Taiwan, Hungary and Bulgaria are also investigating possible links in the supply chain.

Everytime my attention comes to this headline I still can't believe it. 🙃 what an absolute mind fuck.

Four people questioned in Taiwan over exploding pagers in Lebanon

Prosecutors in Taiwan have confirmed they’ve now questioned four people as witnesses in relation to their investigation into exploding pagers in Lebanon that have been linked to a Taiwanese company.

At least 32 people died and thousands more were injured in successive days of attacks last week as handheld communication devices used by Hezbollah exploded in a suspected Israeli espionage operation targeting the Lebanese armed group.

The branding of electronics manufacturer Gold Apollo was found on exploded pagers. The Taiwan-based firm has denied it produced the products, saying it licensed its design and branding to Hungary-based company, BAC. Taiwan’s government has also denied the pagers were made in Taiwan.

Last week, Taiwanese prosecutors questioned Gold Apollo’s CEO Hsu Ching-kuang and a woman named Teresa Wu, the sole employee of a company called Apollo Systems Ltd, which Hsu claims facilitated the deal with BAC.

One current and one former employee of Gold Apollo have now also been questioned as witnesses, according to the Shilin District Prosecutors Office in Taipei, which is leading the probe.

Norway issues warrant for man linked to Lebanon device blasts

Norwegian police issued an international search request for Rinson Jose, a Norwegian-Indian man linked to the sale of pagers to the Lebanese group Hezbollah that exploded last week.

Jose, 39, disappeared while on a work trip to the US last week. He is a founder of a Bulgarian company reportedly part of the pager supply chain.

Police last week opened an investigation into a Norwegian man’s alleged links to the blasts. “A missing persons case has been opened and we have issued an international search for the person,” Mari Elise Bunaes Myhrer of the Oslo police told broadcaster NRK.

Hundreds of pagers and walkie-talkies detonated across Lebanon last week, killing at least 37 people and wounding nearly 3,000 in an attack widely blamed on Israel, which has refused to comment.

I still don't understand why they didn't tag the pagers with GPS instead of explosives and use them to verify the positions of Hezbollah for their current bombing and instead of this blanket bombing use precise airstrikes.
