Just make a sequel, it'd be easier to get news eyes on it.

Sure, but I imagine it has been a sales disappointment, considering everything else with the Pokemon brand has exploded this gen.

When was the last time pokken sales were updated. From what I know Nintendo don't bother giving an update on sales unless a game sells over 1 million in a fiscal year. So many of the games listed could be potentially quite a bit higher than listed.

Well the last update for that is 31 Dec 2022 and pokken doesn't seem to be in the list of games updated. So it's hard to know exactly what it has sold. I doubt it's massively high or anything but who knows.

Nintendo's family friendliness really does wonders. Imagine having a baby in the Switch launch year. Now at 7/8 years old these kids are wishing for a Switch for their birthday/holiday presents.

2.1 million consoles for the quarter is better than I expected given it was a very quiet three months in terms of software, with the only significant releases being two remasters of old games and a niche IP in Endless Ocean.

Just 10.61 million to go until Switch passes the DS, or less than the lifetimes sales of the Wii U, lulz. Crazy how the total sales of Switch's predecessor is now the estimate for its 8th year on the market.

That is nuts lol. It's still crazy to me that the Wii U sold THAT poorly inbetween their two most successful home consoles.

This fiscal quarter will end with the release of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom, so I'll expect, coupled with the Lite Edition that this fiscal quarter will likely be down but close or a bit above the 3M shipped.

Super Mario Party and Tears of the Kingdom has turned out to be an interesting fight to watch; neck and neck in sales, and both sold around the same amount this quarter.

SMP has really turned out to be one of the breakout hits of the Switch generation, more than doubling the sales of the series' previous peak and becoming the first entry to rank among the top 10 for its console.
