Well, My Uncle tried for many years to have a child with my Aunt, but recently he discovered that he is sterile, so my Uncle and my Aunt decided to adopt 3 children.

Recently he decided to sell somethings, and one of those things was his main PC, so he sold one of his Pcs (he still have a laptop for gaming) for me.

I paid BRL 4500 (U$ 790) for the entire setup and I think it was a bargain for Brazilian standards. Oh, he builded the pc just 8 months ago.

I will put the specs below:

GPU: RTX 3070 MLLSE 8GB GDDR6

RAM; Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro, 16GB (2x8GB), 3600MHz

Motherboard: Asus TUF Gaming B550M-PLUS Wi-Fi II

Storages: SSD Netac Nvme Nv7000 1TB - SSD Sata 960GB

Power Supplie: Corsair CX650W

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Turbo

Monitor: 27 inch, Curved, Quad-HD (2460x1440p), 1ms, 165HZ, IPS, HDR, FreeSync and HDMI/DP.

That's some title and also some PC. Idk much about them but that looks like 4k 60fps forbmost modern games with power to spare, not that you'll get it with the moniter. But that's also a great monitor, HDR is amazing. 👏

Twas, a bargain. You're lucky he put himself in the poor house ;). May I ask what this thing is callable of, at 1440p on the monitor what FPS are you hitting for that resolution? Any recent games to bench mark?

Playing Red Dead Redemption 2 at 1440p and using Ultra settings (with some changes) I got something like 70-80 fps

I was thinking about that. Very beastly machine. You don't even need 4k at that size monitor, 1440p is perfect..Have you tried the HDR yet? I hear it's really iffy on PC but RDR has really good HDR if you want to test it. It's mind blowing display tech, way better than chasing resolution if you calibrate it correctly to your lighting situation. 

Yeap HDR is a big difference, mainly in games like red dead, hellblade 2 and death stranding, because my other monitor is a Full HD, Ips, 60hz, and dont have HDR.

Congratulation to your uncles and to you for getting your hands on such PC. 1440p is, in my opinion, the perfect resolution with that GPU.
