Forums - Gaming Discussion - Gameinformer readers best games of all time list 2024 vs 2018 350k votes

Those type of best of all time lists will always represent the demographic majority present on those sites. Also, take in recency bias and trends in popular video game genre and you get the results you have there.

Reset Era presents more variety but it also has Bloodborne in 1st place which would not stand in any other list by popular sites because they appeal to a more broad gaming crowd.

Also, the absence of high ranking Nintendo titles isn't too surprising considering Famiiboards existence(A massive Nintendo fans secession from ResetEra) would infer a different result most likely.

Anyway, nothing will ever beat the outlandish Undertale upset back in 2015 Gamefaqs best of all time(Was it another ?). Tells you everything you need to understand how flawed those reader's votes are.

Same thing for the TGA player's game of the year voted by the gamers.
