That was one of my first assumptions, Lol. But it seems the dude is just a wild political whacko, though to try to assassinate someone you have to naturally have a bit of a screw loose but I got a look at his Twitter before it was nuked, his political allegiances are all over the place, seems like an independent voter to me.

• Expressed dislike of Biden in 2020.
• Supported Vivek Ramaswamy + Nikki Haley ticket in 2024.
• Started to criticise Haley at some point in 2024.
• Expressed support of Biden/Harris in 2024.
• Absolutely hates Putin but likes Tulsi.
• Extremely pro-Ukraine, NATO and Taiwan.
• Anti-China.

Voter records show him as unaffiliated in NC. He lived in Hawaii as well. Voted in the NC Democratic Party Primary in March 2024. Made $140 worth of donations to ActBlue since 2019.

Onto the crazy stuff.

• He tried to tag Zelenskyy on Twitter to ask him to phone him.
• He tried to tag agencies related to Taiwan, Ukraine and the Haiti National Police claiming to have thousands of Afghanistan soldiers for them.
• He said he would join Ukraine's army to operate a Patriot Missile System for them if America sent them one and trains him on it.
• He invited Kim Jong Un to Hawaii.
• Wanted Iran to assassinate Trump.
• He's an antivaxxer.
• He tried to buy a rocket from Elon Musk to fire it into Putin's mansion (Lmfao).
• Tried to recruit fighters to fight for Ukraine and Taiwan despite not having authority to do so.

I've got speculation on what set him off but the dude is alive so he'll probably tell us soon.

I think this one will pass quicker than the last, I'm already over it and I panicked about the last attempt

1. It has happened during the NFL so a lot of people are too distracted to give a shit.
2. There was no livestream this time around, no powerful image to go with it.
3. The shooter didn't even get close to Trump, didn't even fire a single shot.
4. Shooter seems like he needs genuine mental help and is a former disgruntled Trump voter.
5. Nobody was hurt.
6. It happened in Florida - Okay, I'm trolling a little with this one, Lol.
7. Some already thought the last attempt was a hoax (I do not agree with that at all).
8. People are probably getting sick of the chaos that follows Trump now.
9. Trump will start ranting about cats and dogs again soon, sympathy is lesser when Trump and his ilk are causing bomb threats in Ohio.
10. Another American-born white dude so no anti-immigrant or racist angle to go with it.

Trump will try to milk it but I think everyone is going to move on in a few days, the last attempt which happened live, actually clipped him and resulted in a powerful image didn't move polling at all and largely, nobody gave a shit, Lol. I'm already "meh" about this attempt. The shooter needs serious mental health assistance.

Trump is a weirdo who appeals to weirdos. It's normal for weirdos to go up against each other whenever things don't run smoothly. It's why it is so common for far-right political parties to suffer from infighting.

So let me recap for you no matter what your personal political leanings are,
USA billionaire capitalist = Hated by Trump
Totalitarian North Korean dictator who leads a self-described socialist state = Loved by Trump when they sent letters and met. Donald Trump said Kim and he "fell in love" and as recent as this year he still has praised Kim even as the peace talks during the Trump presidency led to nothing and crumbled even before Trump left office.
I thought Trump, conservatives and Republicans were for freedom, capitalism, American excellence, etc. At least that's what they say.
