I try not to be unnecessarily rude but I do wonder if this election is really just between relatively "smart" american vs. relatively "dumb" Americans. And the verdict just might be there are more dumb Americans in this country or at least the swing states.

Definitely not.  The media has done a great job of selecting dumb trump supporters to make it seem that way, but that is disingenuous.  I know a lot of Ph.D scientists, who are far from dumb, who are voting Trump.

Liberals don't want to hear it, but some people don't like their platform.  The idea that only dumb people are conservative is media nonsense.

I have plenty of college educated friends and family who are perfectly smart and successful, and they are Trumpers.

People underestimate his fanbase, which is why liberals struggle beating him in elections.

A shame we learned so little since 2016.  Perhaps if liberals would stop underestimating their opponent this wouldn't be a close race?

Well, yeah, if you’re gonna vote for this with record-high inflation (that Trump brought on us in the first place by bungling Covid, hence production shortages)

and this:

and this:

And Trump openly boasting about his plans to be an unchecked fascist if he’s elected as a x34 convicted felon and adjudicated rapist who literally tried to overthrow the government (Jan. 6th).

vs. a sane woman who prosecuted creeps like Trump who plans to fight corporate price-gouging and for tax breaks for the middle class, the true job creators?

Yeah, Trumpers are right to have their IQ questioned, which is why registered Republicans are voting (or already have voted) down ticket blue in droves this year and voting for country over party (God bless their hearts).

In 2016, the opposite happened with Trump gaining a lot of votes from defected Bernie supporters. Add in a historically-unpopular candidate who refused to campaign in rust belt states against her own party’s recommendations and the writing was on the wall. Now the tables have turned and sects of Trump’s own base sees an infected walrus in their own party and wanting to put it down. You think inflation is bad now, Trump imposing a 60% tariff on China goods (that’s a price increase in case you aren’t aware) isn’t gonna help that at all, quite the opposite.

Why are people mad that he done MSG?

Honestly it is disgusting. Makes me wonder if going home is the right decision.

Trump holds a Nazi rally but I guess it’s going to be liberals fault that he wins because we suck at messaging, not that a sizable portion of the country wants a fascist dictator.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

What does this twat know about London other than the trash he reads on Twitter? Lmao. Wonder if he's even ever visited London. London does not give a fuck about your opinion you little chud. Keep your racist dog whistle to yourself, we all know that you mean London doesn't feel English because there's too many non-white people, racist asshole.

In 1939 there was famously a Nazi rally in MSG. To be fair, the vast vast majority of events held at MSG were not Nazi rallies. But, just like that rally, a huge focus was anti-immigrant, and anti-anyone who isn't white. So, when you have people on stage saying that Time Square has been taken over by immigrants (I have been there many times recently and it is as it has always been) or that Puerto Rico is an island of garbage (Puerto Ricans are certainly not illegal immigrants, so it's not about immigration), or that all Palestinians are terrorists, it raises some eyebrows.

You combine this with the fact that there is not much of a reason to do a rally in MSG. New York is not in contention this year. So, why do a rally there? One theory is that it's a dog whistle to white supremacists. Combining the location, the tone of the rally, public statements by Trump that are nearly verbatim Hitler quotes (i.e. immigrants are poisoning the blood of the country), recent reports from credible sources about Trump praising Hitler in private... And yeah, you got a pretty good case that this was an intentional appeal to nazis.

But you know, inflation in the US was almost as bad as it was in every other developed nation over the past four years, so why not elect a fascist. Maybe he can make sure the trains run on time.

Any evidence that there is a large amount of Republicans voting for Harris? It certainly is possible, but I have not seen any proof of that yet.

Optics of the guy being labelled as a fascist by even his own former staff and who publicly repeats fascist shit holding a rally at a former Nazi rally location are bad enough and if I was in charge of his campaign I would tell him not to do so, especially since he has zero chance of flipping New York so like, what is he holding a rally for there anyway? But okay lets give him the benefit of the doubt.

Oh look, his rally is fully of fascist, racist, disgusting comments, aimed towards Puerto Ricans, Immigrants, Democrats, Journalists, etc. Calling journalists the enemy of the people, speakers calling Harris the antichrist and labelling PR as a floating island of garbage, once again bringing up laws from the 1700s, the same law which led to concentration camps of Japanese-Americans during WW2, a lot of horrific rhetoric towards immigrants and ratcheting up the violent us vs them talk. It was a fascist rally. But Trump knew it would be anyway.

Man won't even release his medical records, he sure as shit ain't taking a cognitive test, but it's good for Harris to put him on the spot like this, like she did with debates, like she did with his medical records, he has cowered away from them all.

There's literally a landmark in New York inviting immigrants. It's on all of our license plates. I do not think that it is a coincidence that the city with high levels of immigration is one of the most prosperous in the country and arguably the epicenter of "American" culture.

It’s all anecdotal, but there’s literally thousands of tweets from registered Republicans and independents who said they’re not only voting for Kamala, but Democratic down the ticket. It’s all in that video.

I’ve seen snippets of YouTube comments from registered Repubs saying the same as well, none for Trump from the other side. I’ve yet to see a single Dem cross-party voter.
