Wow! Mario vs. DK #1 in Spain, the U.K. and Japan. Wasn't expecting that. Number 1 in the only 3 markets we have data for bodes well for its LT sales. I thought it was a small franchise but with these (just physical numbers) it looks likely to hit 1m LT WW easily.

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

Some really rough declines again this week, though I expect these figures will be adjusted up a bit later in the year so that they're not quite so bad.

YoY changes for this week (vs adjusted 2023 figures):

Hmm that is true i guess. I didn't really consider the "Switch effect" with a game like Mario vs. D.K. Perhaps i should have done.

For those who thought the Xbox Series couldn't be even more dead in Europe, I think this month's sales are gonna be quite alarming ...

Though everyone's decreasing, even Sony which is not gonna match the uptake in sales it had last year.

Software side we've got Mario vs DK at the top which is pretty excellent considering I did not know what to expect of it.

Switch effect aside, the series has typically done pretty well

Donkey Kong 94-3.07 million

Mario vs Donkey Kong-1.37 million

MvDK: March of the Minis-1.52 million

MvDK: Mini Land Mayhem-2.98 million

During the 3DS/Wii U era it became a smaller, eShop only release.
