Glad to see Age of Empires 4 get its console release! Hopefully Age of Mythology: Retold will get an update soon!

Other than that, Starfield trailer was epic and the new cover art looks freaking gorgeous.

AC Mirage looks utterly terrible and having it after Crimson Desert points out even more how bad it looked. Should start calling it A Ubisoft Unoriginal. Little Nightmares 3 looked amazing.

Microsoft had a decent showing with Ara, Age of Empires, Starfield, Gamepass and some small things.

Surprised that SIE was completely absent.

Overall the show was okay, dragged in some spots like CoD.

Yet another over hyped show.

I thought Stalker 2 was going to have a prescence as well, but I guess it's just going to be the hands-on demo. Hopefully gameplay is shared online.

I agree though. There's honestly never been one show from Geoff that has wowed me. 

Props to Sony for not showing up. They the clear winners of the showcase.

They said the same thing last year, but they still had the DualSense Edge at Gamescom.

It seemed like Sony was still giving something small, even if they weren't having a show of their own. 

SIE has skipped Gamescom before. I also think they really have anything really worth showing, that they couldn't announce via a SOP at the moment. So why would they be there, to show even more of SM2? Much better to show updates on your games when the rest of the industry isn't fighting for the same attention.
