Why ain't it on Steam in Japan?

Can't you use a worldwide Steam key? Shall someone gift it to your Steam account?

Great to hear. The issue with other launchers such as battle.net and such is they are simply not as feature filled as Steam is and a lot of them don't even feel like they are trying to implement new features anymore. So I'd rather just have one great launcher than 5 shit ones.

I remember Jizz Beard the Pirate from the days when VGChartz was a haven for all kinds of pirates and scum till the Government decide to clean the place up and hired some scurvy ridden dogs flying under the banner of Mangey old dogs of the Sea or Mods for short, but unable to defeat the mighty Jizz they then dealt a cowardly blow by outlawing his Holy name showing themselves to be gasp horror! moral campaigners a far lower breed than even used car salesmen, TV evangelists  or even snake belly ticklers.

So if you are indeed he whose name is taboo, my question is how did you reclaim your birthright was it by brutally dispatching your  imposter in front of the mods before drowning and suffocating them in Jizz, or (I know dignified isn't a word to be associated with either of us still I'll ask the question), was it a more dignified Please can I have my name back routine that consists of slowly thumbing through a list of personal messages and constantly stopping accompanied by lots of crude gestures and pointing while grinning madly .

I sailed the 7 seas in search of the legendary conch that would force the Government to give me my old name back by telling me which whores they slept with so I could blackmail them while stealing their unsatisfied wives for my Krakens personal pleasure. But alas, it was a trap set by the lusty mermaids that wanted my Jizz all for themselves! After battling them for several years and finally escaping, I came back to this sanctuary abiding my time now that the old guard have gone, slowly dropping subtle hints to give me my name back like a squid slowly wraping its tentacles around an unsuspecting Japanese school girl. Eventually the good lord named CGI agreed to give me my old name back and thus I have returned to my former self!

Also it says in the very tiny fine print, that the game still requires both a Battlenet account and the client itself, so really, having it on team just makes the game a glorified Battlenet launcher with an extra step (And I doubt Blizz is working with Valve to allow for all of Steam's features to work fully with Blizz's games, this just comes off like a Ubi dump catalog). 

While a Battlenet account is required, Mike Yabara has stated that it will run directly from Steam. It remains to be seen how truthful that statement is.

If Blizzard can do this without demanding the Battlenet client, then Ubisoft/R*/2k will remain the only ones that are still doing it the wrong way. 

And EA! Haven't tried Ubisoft's yet but so far EA is by far the worst for me. It can take 20+ mins to get a game to actually start due to stupid EA launcher issues.
